Light As A Feather
Porkpie hat from Topshop • White button-down shirt and denim cut-offs from Cotton On • Shoes from Jeffrey Campbell • I Sweat Glitters — Punk Earring from MARiS • Other accessories from Diva, Bugis Village One of the many things I’ve learned from learned from Lauren Conrad’s Style is that if you found that perfect piece, preferably basics, don’t be afraid to buy it in numbers because sooner or later, that piece will no longer be available in the market and you have to scour through stores again.
When Hurricane Kitty/Jesrhel Co wore this earring for MARiS, I instantly fell inlove with it. I immediately told my boyfriend about it and he bought it for me as gift. Forever sweet! ♥
Mixed bracelets and bangles from Diva & Yhansy Manila. Rings from Bugis Village.
Last but not the least, shoes from Jeffrey Campbell! ♥ One day, I’ll own more JC shoes! ;) Please do hype this outfit on Lookbook! Thanks! ♥ Romantique ♥
Hype this outfit on Lookbook Details: Lace Apricot Dress from Romwe • Porkpie Hat, Belt and Tights from Topshop • Black Pumps from Aldo • Accessories from Diva This lovely dress from Romwe is so classy, I wanted to match a pair of suspender tights. I didn’t have any so I really went out and bought one at Topshop (Fortunately, it was F3’s 40% off discount weekend!). Wearing this ensemble makes me feel like I’m a French girl who regularly attends a poetry club in a chic cafe. ;) And since Valentine’s Day is coming up, Romwe is throwing away an early discount rate for you guys! See the photo below for details: Don’t forget to hype my other looks here, here, here and here. Thanks! :)
I don’t know if it’s just me but it seems that most malls in Singapore likes to pump up their A/C units. Since I wasn’t feeling well that day, I’ve decided to wear this really slouchy sweater from Cotton On Body to keep me protected yet warm. :) I also finally got a chance to wear my customized dreamcatcher necklace. Want one? Don’t worry, I’ll throw a giveaway in the near future. ;) Now, to add some hint of edgy to my laid-back and obviously girlish outfit, I’ve decided to pair it up with my Jeffrey Campbell booties! ♥ January 31, 2012 | 3 weeks ago 08:12 PM
#Kisty #Lookbook #Fashion #Cotton On #Jeffrey Campbell #Dreamcatcher Hype Classic Sequins on Lookbook Hype CHERRY RED WINE on Lookbook Singapore is preparing for Chinese New Year and even if I’m not Chinese, I can’t help but feel excited (not to mention, quite thankful because we have a week-long break). Since red is considered to be a lucky color, I’ve decided to wear my lovely red wine dress from Topshop and pair it up with my killer (an understatement) shoes from Pill Footwear. Have you ever had that feeling that you want those shoes because of reasons? Like, they’re so unique or pretty that it doesn’t matter if they’re uncomfortable? Well… I had to experience that with these shoes. They hurt like there’s no tomorrow! Don’t get me wrong, I’m all comfort over fashion but it’s such a pretty pair. <3 Also, I want to thank all of you for following my blog. I recently reached the 8,888 following mark. Yay! <3 I normally don’t share the number of followers I have but eight is a lucky number (for the Chinese community, I just had to insert that!) and my favorite number. So again, thank you so much and don’t forget to join my Instax giveaway! :) Please do hype this on Lookbook or on What I Wear. :)
Keep It Simple, Sweetheart. End SOPA.
Me and my corny acronyms. Haha. Do not laugh at my lame blog title, it has a purpose! First, I have this strong urge to update my blog every single day. I feel like I’m flooding my own blog and I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing (Please go to my Disqus box and tell if I should update every day, once a week or every other day). Second, since Singapore is a clean country and there are lots of potential areas for a photo shoot. I’ve decided to do a little experiment and do an outfit shoot near my house. It was extremely sunny on the day I took this but I found a shady spot with a playground and gazebo.
My outfit was simple with minimal accessories. Fashion bloggers would often “excessorize” but I was thankful I didn’t. Why is that? Because it was hot and my camera won’t do my bidding! I was posing there and it keeps focusing the background! Fail much? At least I was able to capture one happy shot (and my favorite of them all).
Hype this look on Lookbook and on WhatIWear. :) Last but not the least, I want to take this opportunity to send across a very important message. If you’re one of the millions of people who access the Internet every day, I’m sure that you’ve heard about the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Private IP Act (PIPA), an American Censorship bill. You might say that “I’m not American, I don’t care!”, but you should because most of the websites you are using now — Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube and 9GAG — are all based in the US. This censorship bill will kill these websites you are addicted to and will definitely affect our future. I would like to ask all of you to watch the video below and help spread the world. I am participating in the SOPA STRIKE that’s going to happen at around 8AM Eastern Standard Time (or 9PM PHT, I think?) and it will go for 12 long hours. If you wish to join this strike, just go here for details. Hearts x Hearts Thrifted pink sweater | Denim shorts from Cotton On | Bag from H&M | Tights from SM Department Store | Booties from Aldo
Polka-dotted heart ring from Accessorize, Peace ring from Diva and pretty bow ring from a bazaar. You could barely see it but I’m wearing a Love pendant from Diva.
Since Beijing is extremely chilly at this time of the year and I had to make a flight transfer in Manila, I had to make sure that what I was going to wear on my flight was cool and casual for a tropical country but covered enough to handle the chilly atmosphere. In order to win my heart back, my Mixing prints on prints can be a challenge sometimes. I usually hate mixing prints on prints but with the right combination, I think anyone can pull it off. Despite the details of my outfit, it still looks simple and sweet. To spice things up, I’ve decided to pair it with a set of accessories from Yhansy Manila and my statement handbag. :)
Outfit Details: White eyelet bustier and floral skirt from Forever 21 Philippines, Solemate in Pearl from Sole Sister, Union Jack handbag, bracelets from Yhansy Manila, and turquoise ring from Aldo Singapore December 13, 2011 | 2 months ago 07:00 PM
