Welcome to Tumblr! Wait, how long have you been here?

  • Thanks! I’ve been a Tumblr user for about three years now. 

How old are you?

  • Born on October 1988. So, do the math. :)
What school are you from? 
  • University of Asia and the Pacific & James Cook University Singapore
Are you half-Filipino, half-Japanese?
  • I’m guessing you know my full name, that’s why you asked. But nope, I’m not. I’m pure Filipino. :)

How did you get into blogging?

  • In 2001, I was influenced by online friends who are so good at making graphics.

… In photography?

  • I took up at Multimedia Class in 2008. Got hooked ever since. :)

… In fashion?

  • Fashion is something that a lot of girls, if I’m not mistaken, are interested into since they were young. I was one of those girls. I used to draw dresses (and the only person who saw them were my mom and two sisters, haha) when I was in high school but I only started dressing up after working for STATUS. 

What’s your camera, lenses and other gear?

  • Primarily, I use a Nikon D90 with a Tamron 17-50mm. Sometimes, I pair it with Nikkor 50mm or a Tokina 11-16mm lens.

What are you other cameras?

  • Instax Mini 7S, Instax 210 Wide (with my sister), Canon S95 (with my boyfriend’s mother)

How do you edit your photos?

  • Mainly, I do all basic adjustments in Camera RAW then set the mood with my pre-made Photoshop actions. I edit each photo differently, so it’s hard to say how.

What’s your favorite color?

  • Pink, white and turquoise blue, Most of the time, I like pastel colors.

What’s your favorite movie?

  • It’s hard to say, but for now, let’s go with American Pie, Easy A, The Notebook, Zombieland and Closer. 

What’s your favorite band/music?

  • This section could go on forever but Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5, and Foster The People are some of my favorites. 

What’s your favorite hobbies/past times?

  • I enjoy dancing, reading, sketching, and of course, sleeping. Meh.

Why are you in Singapore?

  • I’m learning how to make kick-ass games that your boyfriend will consume a lot of time on.

Where did you get your Polaroid SX-70 and Instax Mini 7S?

  • I bought the Polaroid SX-70 camera from Ebay while the Instax Mini 7S was a Valentine’s gift from my boyfriend, he got it from Fujifilm.

Where did you get your iPad?

  • My first iPad was from Juice.ph because I was one of the four winners selected in their Shoot/Write Some Juice contest. It was a black 16GB wireless only model. My sister currently owns this model.

    The second one was from my school here in Singapore. :) It’s a white 16GB wifi+3G model. 
What’s Nuffnang? How do you earn from Nuffnang?
  • Nuffnang is a blog advertising community here in SE Asia and Australia. If you have enough site traffic, Nuffnang will place a blog ad on your site and you’ll earn money from that (usually when your readers click it).
What kind of make-up brand do you use?
  • I use different brands. I use The Face Shops’ Phytogenic Infinite for foundation and concealer, Maybelline for mascara, Sephora for blush/eyeshadow and Etude House for lipsticks.
Do you like Harry Potter?
  • Haha! Silly muggle question. 

What are you like in real life?

  • I’m hyper and quite approachable. Probably quite the opposite online, IDK. Hahaha.

  • Fuck Ian. Marry Ryan. Kill… Well, sorry Andrew but the other options were too good to be true. Hahaha.
